Thanks to All GYA Delegates!

From July 30th to August 2nd, over 600 delegates from around the world gathered in Edmonton, Canada for the Ignite Change Now! Global Youth Assembly 2009. Check out some of the highlights below. Everyone left inspired, connected, and ready to take action in their communities and the world. Keynotes included Dr. Lloyd Axworthy, Craig Kielburger, Mariatu Kamara, Ocean Robbins, 4REAL, Buddha, Gary Martin, Nazanin, and her Excellency Michaelle Jean, Governor General of Canada.

The GYA 2009 was an exploration of how YOUth can build community in their own way. The first step for many was making a commitment and setting a deadline for that commitment. This exercise showed how dedicated and creative GYA attendees prove to be at each GYA. Visit www.gyaaction.org to find out what kind of commitments and projects GYA delegates are taking back to their communities and MAKE YOUR OWN COMMITMENT to Ignite Change Now!"
